Why Praise Is Nigeria’s Most Powerful Weapon Right Now

Praise is More Than a Song—It’s a Weapon

Praise has always held divine power. In the Bible, it’s not just a form of expression—it’s a form of warfare. The children of Israel didn’t bring down the walls of Jericho with weapons—they did it with obedient, unified praise (Joshua 6). When King Jehoshaphat faced a vast enemy army, he didn’t send out soldiers—he sent out singers, and the enemies destroyed themselves (2 Chronicles 20).

This is not fiction. This is spiritual strategy.

Nigeria Needs a Spiritual Turnaround

From insecurity and corruption to youth unrest and economic instability, Nigeria is in dire need of a deep, lasting transformation. We believe that change begins in the realm of the spirit. Praise enthrones God, and wherever God is enthroned, justice, peace, and divine order follow (Psalm 22:3).

This is why SOPON was birthed—to raise a national altar of praise that will shift atmospheres and invite the presence of God over our land.

What SOPON Is Doing

SOPON (60Days Sacrifice of Praise Worship) is not a concert. It’s a prophetic movement. For 60 days leading to Nigeria’s Independence Day, believers across the nation will gather—physically and virtually—to offer uninterrupted, intentional praise to God.

We’re not waiting for politicians. We’re not hoping for systems to change. We’re activating heaven through our praise.
